- Water Connect is a one day conference and matchmaking event for organizations interested in developing innovative solutions
- It creates an opportunity for innovators to find out what’s happening in the industry right now
- The event takes place on the 9th November 2017 in Peterborough
- It’s free to attend but spaces are limited
The water industry is difficult to break in to. So the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and the Water Innovation Network have teamed up with the SCALE-UP programme for the second year running for Water Connect 2017. It’s a one day conference that has been designed for SMEs to meet decision makers at Anglian Water. Delegates will learn about the key challenges and opportunities at Anglian Water.
In addition to the conference, there will be a matchmaking event in the afternoon. It’s not as cheesy as it sounds! It provides a really effective way to speak with potential cooperation partners. The meetings are pre-arranged and only last 15 minutes, so make sure you have your questions ready!
If you’re an organisation, university or researcher looking to find out more about Anglian Water’s challenges or if you are thinking of collaborating with them, this is an event not to be missed.
Last year Morten Grum from WaterZerv (a Danish water solutions company) attended Water Connect, he said: “It was great to learn about Anglian Water’s challenges and visions. It made me think of new ways that WaterZerv can remain competitive in today’s market. There were senior decision makers at the event which gave companies the ability to discuss genuine business needs.”
