NWP in cooperation with the Dutch embassy in Bogota and het Holland Colombia platform are preparing (when there is enough interest) a collective participation of the Dutch water(technology) sector during the 58th edition of the International congress and exhibition ACODAL. The event will take place from 9 until 11 September in Santa Marta, Colombia. This event that meets around 1.500 visitors from the different sectors (government, private, public and research institutes) has an academic and commercial character and offer interesting opportunities for networking and business. The academic agenda will be focused on the challenges that Colombia has in the areas of water, sanitation, renewable energy and waste management.
This year Holland has been invited to be the guest of honour, this will give us the possibility of filling a substantial part of the academic program where the experiences and knowledge of the Dutch water(technology) sector can be presented. There will be also the possibility of setting a Dutch pavilion where the integral Dutch approach to can be highlighted and companies can exhibit their related products/services.
On the 21st of May we will organise a sector meeting to present in detail the content of the conference, what this event will offer to the Dutch sector (a.o. opportunities for presentations, matchmaking and visibility in a Dutch pavilion) and how to participate. We would like also to receive input of the interested organisations in participating for further completion of the academic agenda.
The meeting will take place at NWP from 15.00 until 17.00 pm. You can register by sending an e-mail to Edilberto Baquero, e.baquero@nwp.nl
