Holland Water is the latest sponsor at Expo 2020 Dubai

Expo Dubai is proud to introduce yet another sponsor of the Dutch pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai: Holland Water. A Dutch water-tech company that offers smart and sustainable technological solutions for combating legionella. They have sold and installed over 700 systems in Europe and the United Arab Emirates. The company’s mission is to keep water clean and safe whilst reducing water wastage and the carbon footprint, and lowering customers’ operational costs.

Innovative water-tech solution in the Netherlands Pavilion
Holland Water has spent the past 17 years developing and optimizing their water-tech innovation, a water treatment technology based on copper-silver ionization. The system with patented dosage technology meticulously purifies every liter of water that enters a building with a low yet precise amount of silver and copper. The ionized metals kill the bacteria and break down the biofilm, resulting in water that is clean and safe to drink. Not only that, the water has no residual taste or odor, unlike water that’s been treated with chlorine. This system is a perfect match for the circular and sustainable Dutch pavilion and will be installed as soon as the construction work resumes.

Global Sales Director Peter van der Linde commented:
‘Participation in Expo 2020 Dubai is a unique opportunity to share our vision and showcase our ambitions. COVID-19 is a striking example of how vulnerable society is to viruses and bacteria. Besides being essential to society from a human health perspective, our Bifipro® technology has proven its unique efficacy and is certified to help facilitate safe water. We are therefore grateful and excited about the opportunity to present our solutions to a global audience at the Netherlands Pavilion.’

About the pavilion
The Dutch pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai will open in less than a year. The circular pavilion is devoted entirely to innovation in the fields of water, energy and food. Dutch businesses, knowledge institutions and civil society organisations have specialist knowledge and expertise in these areas and can play a key role in finding solutions that contribute to a more sustainable planet. Visitors can experience how a combination of unique innovations allows us to grow food, harvest water and generate electricity, even in Dubai’s harsh climate.

Expo 2020 Dubai and the Dutch pavilion will be open to visitors from October 2021 to April 2022
