On Friday 16 november, we welcomed a delegation from the city of Coquimbo, Chile. The delegates represent different water related institutions and universities in the region of the river Elqui.
The group of representatives are on a week long visit to the Netherlands in order to get an introduction to the Dutch water sector. A visit to the WaterCampus, therefore, couldn’t be left out.
The day started with a presentation about the WaterCampus’ innovation chain. As the group was very interested in the Dutch technology, Berghof Membranes also gave them a short presentation about their latest innovations. To provide a more practical example of the innovation chain, the group also visited Wetsus and the Water Application Center.
After the network lunch, the representatives left for a departure to Afmitech in Joure for an introduction into the company’s wastewater treatment systems. Later today, there is also a visit to Paques scheduled.
