From Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 November 2025, Evenementenhal Gorinchem will be entirely dedicated to the circular economy and sustainable recycling technology. During Recycling 2025 and the accompanying Circular Next conference, the entire value chain comes together: from technology developers to policymakers, from recyclers to construction companies. Three days full of inspiration, knowledge, and collaboration to accelerate the transition toward a circular economy. On Thursday 13 November, the international matchmaking event “Netherlands meets Canada @ Vakbeurs Recycling & Circulair Next” will also take place, featuring a delegation of Canadian waste management companies and organisations.
Recycling: the event for sustainable recycling technology
The event will focus on themes such as:
- the use of AI and automation in recycling processes;
- maintenance and efficient management of installations;
- knowledge exchange between companies, researchers, and policymakers;
- developing future-proof recycling solutions.
Recycling 2025 is therefore a meeting place for everyone who wants to put the circular economy into practice.
Circular Next: Connect the chain, accelerate the transition
Taking place alongside Recycling 2025, Circular Next is the conference where government, industry, and knowledge institutions work together toward a circular future. The Dutch government has set ambitious circularity and waste management targets for 2030 and 2050. Circular Next is all about learning from one another, inspiring action, and fostering concrete collaboration. The three-day setup allows every aspect of the circular transition to be explored: policy, implementation, and international opportunities.
