From 6 to 9 July, the 10th edition of the Northumbrian Water Innovation Festival will take place. This open innovation event brings together water utilities, innovators, knowledge institutes and cross-sector partners to jointly develop practical solutions for urgent challenges within the water sector.
The festival is known for its unique sprint approach, where participants collaborate intensively on concrete innovations, prototypes and scalable solutions that contribute to a sustainable and future-proof water sector.
Topics covered during the festival include leakage, data, circular economy, resource recovery, AMP8, water networks, nature and much more.
The festival
The Northumbrian Water Innovation Festival:
- Facilitates innovation sprints to rapidly develop solutions and test prototypes
- Showcases emerging technologies, digital applications and future-focused best practices
- Connects water utilities, SMEs, knowledge institutes and international partners to create real-world impact
This year’s theme is Ten. Whether it is 10x, a top ten or atomic number ten, the festival is going big. Through a spectacular journey through time, the innovation community celebrates nine years of learning, collaboration and impact, while also looking ahead to the future of the water sector. Topics range from leakage, data, circular economy, resource recovery, AMP8, water networks and nature to much more.
