BouwBeurs 2025

From February 3 to 7, 2025, the BouwBeurs will take place at Jaarbeurs Utrecht, the leading meeting point for professionals in the construction sector. This large-scale event brings together over 600 exhibitors and thousands of visitors, focusing on the latest technologies, innovations, and sustainable solutions in construction and installation technology.

This year, Water Alliance will be present at booth 07.A079, alongside partners Biocompact, Desah-Noardling, GEP Water, and Nijhuis SAUR Industries. Together, we will showcase how water technology plays a crucial role in the future of construction, from sustainable water management to circular solutions and innovative applications of water in construction processes.

Join us during the inspiring theater sessions in the BouwBeurs program. Together with our partners from Biocompact, Desah–Noardling, GEP, Cenergist and Nijhuis SAUR Industries we have the following time slots:

• Tuesday, February 4, 2:00–3:15 PM
• Wednesday, February 5, 10:00–11:15 AM
• Thursday, February 6, 10:00–11:15 AM

During these sessions, we will discuss:

(Drinking) Water Savings in the Built Environment: Why Must We Act?

By 2030, an additional 100 million cubic meters of annual production capacity will be required, partly due to an increase in per capita drinking water consumption in recent years. Moreover, the Netherlands faces a housing challenge of 900,000 new homes by 2030, all of which will need access to drinking water. Climate change has increased the demand for drinking water, yet there is less (clean) water available due to drought and salinization. While there is significant political attention on drinking water savings, this has yet to result in concrete measures.

In this session, we will explore possibilities for water savings, reuse, and rainwater harvesting.
