Economic Mission to Colombia (Water & Energy)

Are you active in the water or energy sector and interested in your business opportunities in Colombia? Join this economic mission and discover the possibilities in a rapidly growing market.

This economic mission will take place from Sunday 31 May to Friday 5 June 2026 and will bring you to Bogotá, Barranquilla and Cartagena, offering a unique combination of networking, knowledge exchange and concrete business opportunities. The mission starts in the capital Bogotá and then continues to the coastal cities of Barranquilla and Cartagena. In Cartagena, you will also visit the leading water trade fair ACODAL.

The mission is led by:

Two parallel programmes

During the mission, you can participate in a sector-specific programme: water or energy. Both programmes include expert sessions, company visits and matchmaking with local stakeholders.

Water programme – focus on:

• Drinking water and wastewater treatment
• Water reuse and network optimisation
• Data-driven solutions
• Rainwater management and climate resilience
• Water management for ports and industrial areas
• Ecosystem restoration and water quality monitoring

Explore the entire water programme.

• Offshore renewable energy and port development
• Hydrogen value chains and applications
• Energy storage and flexibility
• Decarbonisation solutions (such as solar, biogas and hybrid systems)

• Meet relevant stakeholders from government, industry and knowledge institutions

Participation and costs

Participation costs:

• €1,200 per organisation
• €600 per additional participant
