Startup Fest Europe is a nation wide festival of events that help startups grow faster by bringing together founders, investors, business leaders and developers around specific themes (verticals). These week long match making activities are a joint effort of startup hubs in Amsterdam, Delft, Brainport Eindhoven, Den Haag, Enschede, Leeuwarden, Nijmegen, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Twente and Wageningen.
From 24-28 May 2016 The Netherlands will be the place where every startup in the world wants to be. It is a four day marathon of matchmaking between startups, investors, developers and corporates. Fourteen regional innovation hubs will host world class events on specialized topics. The WaterCampus will be the global meeting point for entrepreneurs, start-ups, scale-ups and investors focusing on Water Tech and crossovers in Oil & Gas, Food, Delta, Cleantech and Energy.
May 25 #WTFleeuwarden
On May 25, 2016 a Water Tech Fest (WTF) will be organized in Leeuwarden as part of the national Startup Fest. In the physical hotspot for innovation in water technology, the WaterCampus in Leeuwarden we will put the spotlight on entrepreneurs and their innovative products and idea’s.
A full day program will offer the floor to success stories, but above all for matchmaking between entrepreneurs, investors and end-users (the AquaVenture). On different levels discussions and negotiations will be initiated to stimulate the development of breakthrough Water Tech. A “High-Rollers” stage will show the absolute top in Water Tech.
The organization of the Water Tech Fest is a joint effort of StartupDelta, NWP, WaterCampus Leeuwarden, Wetsus, Water Alliance, Provincie Fryslân.
