The Dutch water sector is facing major challenges, such as circularity, climate adaptation, and ensuring water quality and safety. Addressing these challenges requires collaboration and smart solutions. During Aqua Nederland 2026, the water sector comes together to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and connect.
Aqua Nederland is the leading national trade fair for wastewater, drinking water, process water, and urban water and sewer management. Professionals from across the sector meet here to explore new technologies, share experiences, and take practical steps towards the future of water management.

Start-up & Innovation Pavilion
In collaboration with Water Alliance, Aqua Nederland also features a Start-up & Innovation Pavilion. This pavilion is the place to discover the latest technologies and solutions shaping the future of the water sector.
Here, you will find innovative companies presenting technologies that are:
- no more than 5 years old
- distinctive and innovative
- tested at practical level (TRL 7 or higher)
From smart sensors and circular applications to AI-driven monitoring, the pavilion highlights where the water technology sector is heading.
The Start-up & Innovation Pavilion is located at Next Level, the upper floor of the Evenementenhal Gorinchem. This floor is fully dedicated to innovation, knowledge sharing, and networking, and is easily accessible via the central escalator.
