Watervisie

Are you involved in industrial water management? Then Watervisie 2026 is the place to share insights, look ahead and collaborate on sustainable solutions.

Theme

Water plays a key role in the future of industry. Without clean and reliable water, there is no green hydrogen, no circular chemistry, and no credible sustainable transition.
The 2026 edition of Watervisie centres around the theme:
Industry in transition, water on the move.

Three current topics take centre stage:

  • Water for electrolysis and hydrogen – How much water is really needed? What level of purity is required? And where will it come from?
  • Circular production and water use – Are circular processes more or less water-intensive? And what does this mean for industrial water management?
  • Industrial pollution and residual streams – How do we effectively remove PFAS, microplastics and other persistent substances from wastewater?

With increasing water scarcity, stricter quality demands and more complex regulations, water security is emerging as a vital third pillar alongside energy and raw materials.

Target audience

Watervisie 2026 is aimed at professionals and organisations active in the water and industrial sectors, including:

  • Industrial and process water companies – looking for efficient and future-proof solutions.
  • Water treatment companies – focused on purification, reuse and resource recovery.
  • Policy makers and government agencies – shaping long-term water strategies and regulation.
  • Research and knowledge institutions – driving innovation and scientific advancement.
  • Technology developers and suppliers – offering solutions for sustainable industrial water management.

The congress offers a strong content-driven programme, plenty of networking opportunities, and showcases practical applications that support industrial transformation.

Participation

Water Alliance is proud to be a partner of Watervisie 2026. A limited number of our members can attend free of charge (first come, first served).
