Pure Water Group recently participated in one of the world’s largest hydrogen events, the World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition 2024, held at Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands. Hydrogen is receiving a lot of attention worldwide and can make an important contribution to the energy transition. During the event, Pure Water Group introduced its advanced and sustainable water technologies to visitors from all over the world.
The production of hydrogen requires Ultrapure water, which is completely free of salts and has very low conductivity. Ultrapure water is essential for hydrogen production to ensure the efficiency and longevity of the electrolysers. Pure Water Group specializes in Continuous Electrodeionization (CEDI) technology, an environmentally friendly technology that produces Ultrapure water in a sustainable manner.
What will almost certainly contribute to the development of hydrogen projects worldwide is the fact that the largest green hydrogen factory in Europe is being built on the Tweede Maasvlakte in Rotterdam. Holland Hydrogen 1 (HH1) is powered by a 200 MW electrolyzer that can produce up to 60,000 kg of renewable hydrogen per day. Pure Water Group has been selected to build and supply the Ultrapure water equipment for this project.
