This is Water Alliance
Water Alliance is the premier network and industry organization for the Dutch water and environmental technology sector, with over 200 members active in this field. We support our members in (inter)national matchmaking, marketing, networking, and business development.
We are one of the managing partners of WaterCampus in Leeuwarden—a unique collaboration between government, research institutions, and the business community. WaterCampus serves as the physical hub of the Dutch water technology sector and aims to play a connecting role for the entire European market. Our focus is on the business community in innovative and sustainable water and environmental technologies that can be introduced to markets worldwide.
The team
The operational tasks of Water Alliance are carried out by a small, agile team that reports to the Supervisory Board.
Mission
Water Alliance promotes and supports the business development activities of Dutch companies active in the water and environmental technology sector, from start-ups to multinationals, both nationally and internationally.

History
In 2010, several parties in the Northern Netherlands joined forces. With the establishment of Water Alliance as a cluster and network organization, activities related to the development of WaterCampus Leeuwarden were strengthened, supporting the growth of business activity in Dutch water technology. Today, Water Alliance operates as a national network and industry organization with over 200 members, the majority of whom represent technology developed by Dutch businesses.
