Hengelo, the Netherlands – NX Filtration has closed a new four-year framework agreement with the Environment and Water Administration of Gothenburg, the second-largest city in Sweden, further strengthening its position in the Scandinavian drinking water market. The agreement follows the company’s recent landmark award for the new Minnesgärde drinking water treatment plant in Östersund, Sweden, highlighting continued commercial momentum in the region.
The framework agreement covers the supply of replacement ultrafiltration membrane modules for drinking water treatment installations, including the Lackarebäck Water Treatment Works, one of Sweden’s largest drinking water treatment facilities. It has an initial duration of four years, with an option for further extensions.
The selection followed a negotiated tender procedure in which NX Filtration met the municipality’s requirements for product quality and availability, quality processes, organizational capabilities and technical support.
