Would you, as an SME entrepreneur, like to work on innovation projects with others? Then the MIT scheme might be right for you.
The scheme offers 3 instruments that may be of interest to SME entrepreneurs:
- Feasibility Project
Would you like to carry out a feasibility project to map the technical and economic risks of a proposed innovation project? For example, a literature review, market exploration, or industrial research? Check if you are eligible for a subsidy. The subsidy covers 40% of eligible costs, with a maximum of €20,000. - Knowledge Voucher
Do you have a knowledge question regarding the innovation of your products, production processes, or services? If a knowledge institution is going to address the question, you can make use of a voucher. With this “voucher,” you can pay up to 50% of the knowledge institution’s fee. The maximum value of a voucher is €3,750. - R&D Cooperation Project
Are you collaborating with other SMEs to develop or innovate products, production processes, or services? You can apply for an R&D cooperation project. The subsidy covers 35% of eligible costs. The subsidy ranges from €50,000 to €200,000 per innovation project, with a minimum of €25,000 and a maximum of €100,000 per participant.
