WEX Global occupies a unique place in the water conference calendar. Well known for its (water) inventiveness the Dutch will join WEX global 2023 as country technology partner. In the Netherlands water technology plays an important role in transforming a linear economy into a circular one. Innovation is key to this transformation. That the Netherlands takes water (technology) very serious is evidenced by the recent investment of €135 million, by the Dutch government for the Water Technology Growth Plan.
Climate change puts enormous pressure on water resources. The growing population and demands for water require resilient, robust water supplies. Clean water for people, industry and food production are a global challenge. The scope of this problem is wide and varied and so are the solutions. The Dutch trade mission is part of the WTEX10 programme, which is powered by the ministry of economics and climate, ministry of infrastructure and water management, TKI Water Technology and Water Alliance.
WTEX10 is a special program for Dutch Water Technology companies with the objective to accelerating Dutch water technology by supporting these companies increasing their export worldwide. WTEX10 focusses on several countries, amongst Spain.
After a successful participation in the WEX Global 2022 in Valencia, WTEX10 will also participate in 2023 with Dutch water tech companies in the WEX Global. The WEX Global will take place march 27 – 29 in Seville, Spain.
