WEFTEC Chicago 2025

From 29 September to 1 October 2025, Water Alliance will once again be present at WEFTEC in Chicago – the leading trade show for water technology in North America. In collaboration with a strong delegation of Dutch companies, we are organising the Netherlands Pavilion: a joint showcase of Dutch water expertise, innovation, and collaboration.

WEFTEC: Gateway to the U.S. Water Market

WEFTEC (Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition & Conference) is the largest annual water technology event in North America. With hundreds of exhibitors, thousands of professionals, and countless networking opportunities, it is the platform to connect with decision-makers, buyers, and partners from the U.S. water sector.

At WEFTEC 2025, the Netherlands will present itself under the unified banner of the Netherlands Pavilion – a strong collective focused on knowledge sharing, visibility, and matchmaking. The pavilion is hosted by the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) and Water Alliance, and is made possible through funding from the WTEX10 programme – an initiative of the Dutch government, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, and the Top Sector Water & Maritime, in collaboration with Water Alliance and NWP.

What to Expect from the Netherlands Pavilion

The pavilion offers participants a high-profile, strategically located space on the exhibition floor, supported by a comprehensive range of services:

• Collective visibility under the strong international branding of the Netherlands
• Active matchmaking and networking opportunities, both on and off the show floor
• Full access to the conference and technical sessions (included in participation)
• On-site support by the Water Alliance team
• Pre-event promotion through (inter)national communication channels
• Use of shared facilities, including a hospitality area, brochure stand, and furniture

Programme highlights

In addition to activities on the exhibition floor, the Netherlands Pavilion will also host several collective programme elements:

• Tuesday 30 September (09:00 – 10:00): Presentations by all participating Dutch companies at the Global Center, where they will briefly introduce their organisation, innovation, or product.
• Tuesday 30 September (16:00): A networking reception at the Netherlands Pavilion, where all visitors are warmly invited to connect, exchange ideas, and explore new collaborations.
