Spain is one of Europe’s frontrunners in water reuse and offers valuable experience in applying reuse solutions across multiple sectors. Following a roundtable organised by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Spain, the Spain–Netherlands Water Reuse Initiative was launched to strengthen collaboration between the Dutch and Spanish water sectors.
The initiative brings together water technology companies, drinking water utilities, water authorities, industries and knowledge institutions to exchange knowledge, share practical experience and explore opportunities for long-term collaboration.
During this webinar, you will be introduced to the initiative and we will look ahead to the working visit to Valencia and Madrid from 1–4 December 2026. You will gain insight into developments in water reuse in Spain and Europe, hear practical examples of Dutch–Spanish collaboration and learn more about what to expect from the working visit.
