Water Alliance is organising an exclusive two-day water technology mission to Portugal. During this mission, Dutch and Portuguese stakeholders will be brought together to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and develop practical solutions to current water challenges.
The mission focuses on asset management and network efficiency in urban water systems – from drinking water and wastewater to stormwater management. Dutch expertise and Portuguese needs align strongly in these areas.
By connecting utilities, policymakers, system integrators, contractors and innovative companies, we aim to develop scalable solutions that contribute to European objectives in climate adaptation, circularity and efficient water use.
This mission is organised in close cooperation with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Lisbon, the Portuguese Water Partnership, and a local Portuguese consultancy firm, ensuring a high-quality programme and valuable connections.
