Since 2008 Maezawa Industries, Inc. is a licensed partner of Landustrie Sneek BV for manufacturing and supplying the Landox units to the Japanese market. In the past six years this close cooperation surely has come to fruition. This year for example three wastewater treatment plants have been equipped with each two Landox rotors and additional drive units. Special about these Japanese units is the earthquake resistant design.
Oxidation Ditch system
The LANDOX system is a renowned Oxidation Ditch system composed of a high efficiency flow booster combined with fine bubble air diffusers. The plug flow created with Landox flow boosters will increase the efficiency of fine bubble air diffusers with at least 10%. It is a suitable solution for renewal of an existing aeration system using vertical drum mixers, which especially leads to energy saving and improvement of nutrient removal. The system also accommodates deep ditches (up to 5 m water depth) where efficient propulsion of the mixed liquor is required.
