On Tuesday, 26th of April 2022, Natascha Fontanella, Managing Director of BÜFA Chemicals, and Judith le Fèvre and Richard Bruins, co-owners of Water Alliance member Ferr-Tech from Meppel in the Netherlands, made their cooperation official with the signing of the contract. BÜFA Chemicals is the official distributor of the new oxidizing agent FerSol® for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The innovative product is based on the world’s most effective oxidant for water treatment – Ferrate-VI. In the past, it was not possible to produce Ferrate-VI in a stable and preservable way. The start-up Ferr-Tech was the first company to develop a production process that now makes this possible.
Together for a sustainable circular economy
FerSol® purifies residual water in such a way that manufacturing companies can largely reuse it in their processes. In this way, the innovative product supports a sustainable water circle in industrial processes. Companies in various industries can work more ecologically and energy-efficiently. The sustainable circle reduces wastewater costs; in addition, companies save chemicals and energy because the water can be purified at lower temperatures. The patented FerSol®, unlike the chemicals commonly used for water treatment, is environmentally friendly and remaining effective at the same time. Independent official tests have confirmed that FerSol® has no harmful effects on human health or the environment.
