Are you active in urban water management, wastewater treatment or sustainability? Then you won’t want to miss this event!
On Thursday, 26 June, InfraCampus and Water Alliance are organising an inspiring Knowledge Sharing Day on decentralised sanitation, taking place at the InfraCampus in Harderwijk (building 150).
What to expect?
An afternoon full of up-to-date insights, practical examples, and networking opportunities. Discover how decentralised systems perform in real-world settings, where the opportunities lie, and which challenges need to be addressed. STOWA – the Netherlands’ leading applied water research organisation – will take you through the benefits and bottlenecks of decentralised treatment systems.
KWR will also share its insights, discussing how changing legislation, including the new EU Urban Wastewater Directive, affects decentralised solutions.
Inspiration from practice
The Circular Water Expert Group, together with Stefan Bergsma (Desah) and John van Schoonhoven (Bluecon), will present inspiring decentralised treatment innovations. In addition, organisations like LeAF and Lelystad Airport Business Park will share their projects, experiences, and key takeaways.

This event is especially relevant for:
- Municipal professionals working in urban water, sewerage, spatial development or sustainability
- Water authorities and provinces
- Consultancy and engineering firms
