The Grand Finale is broadcasted live from Studio Z
Due to the Covid-19 crisis, this edition on October 9 will be unique. The Grand Finale will be a digital event where the finalists, the jury and media meet in Studio Z in Leeuwarden. From that studio, the final will be broacasted in the form of an exciting live show. Everyone, everywhere on earth can follow it live for free and support their favorite candidate.
We have 7 outstanding finalists
From a ‘CirCleaner’ to a Smartbox, to the Tubular Forward Osmosis – seven promising companies are competing for the title of best innovation in water technology. Need a quick reminder of the innovations that will be competing for this iconic award? View their online pitches here.
7 Mediapartners will share the points that came in via their channels
As a networking organization, we closely work with a lot of parties in the sector. Therefore, we’ve asked our fantastic media partners from Aquatech, Easyfairs, GWTHA, H2O, Waterforum, WaterCoalitie and the WaterCampus to share their douze points per innovation that came in via their own channels.
We work with an expert jury
This years Expert Jury will be formed by: Cees Buisman (Scientific Director Wetsus), Cora Uijterlinde (Programme Manager Wastewatersystems, STOWA), Juliette Douglas (Liaison Business Development, Water Alliance) and Willem Buijs (CEO, Hatenboer-Water).
You can support your favorite innovation
The audience will have the opportunity to vote for their top five from August 24 to September 24. After that, the digital voting round closes – but you can still support your favorite candidate. How? By simply registering yourself as a viewer via our website. During the event on October 9, you can also send your questions to our finalists via the live chat function. We have amazing prizes in store for the best question/comment!
Not another boring digital event
To make sure this will not be ‘another boring digital event’, we can already reveal that we have a lot of other surprise elements in store! For instance, our own colleagues from Water Alliance Alex Berhitu, Agnes Dirksen and yours truly will host the event and help the finalists prepare (and breathe out) in the ‘Blue Room’.
It’s totally free
Tuning in is totally free of costs. Water Alliance encourages innovation in water technology via a number of means. Especially in this time, our sector can use a helping hand and we are more than happy to provide that.
