Three Continuous Electrodeionization (CEDI) systems have been manufactured, successfully tested, and are ready for shipment to the final location. Each CEDI system is equipped with an Ionpure LXM45X-4 module, which delivers 6,500 litres of ultrapure industrial process water per hour, with a conductivity of less than 0.1 µS/cm.
Continuous Electrodeionization is a deliberate choice for the production of ultrapure water and stands out as an advanced and sustainable technology. Unlike traditional ion exchange systems, it requires no chemical regeneration. CEDI uses ion exchange resin, ion-selective membranes, and electricity to remove ions, while the resin is continuously regenerated by direct current during the process. This results in a safer, more environmentally friendly, and more efficient process—without the need for transport, storage, or handling of hazardous regeneration chemicals.
With over 25 years of global experience in water purification projects, Pure Water Group has developed deep expertise in CEDI technology. This project further underlines the company’s commitment to sustainable industrial water treatment, offering the client a reliable, cost-efficient, and chemical-free solution for the production of ultrapure water.
