Water Alliance member Wafilin Systems BV, at Leeuwarden, merged with Hydrasyst UK Ltd as of 17 March 2017. The alliance is a good fit with the growth strategy of both companies.
Activities will be carried out, as before, under the name Wafilin Systems BV; and the company will continue to develop and present itself as the specialist in the area of development and use of various membrane technology-based applications for the industry. Harry van Dalfsen of Wafilin and Kyle Wolff of Hydrasyst are the two directors in Wafilin Systems BV.
New CEO
In addition to the merger of the companies, Mr. Henk Schonewille was appointed CEO of Wafilin Systems BV as per 1st April 2017. Mr. Schonewille has more than 30 years of international experience in the water industry in the field of membrane technology in companies such as Stork, Norit and Pentair, amongst others. Mr. Schonewille will direct the organization’s expansion and professionalization in the coming years.
