Matchmaking during Pollutec

Pollutec is the leading trade fair in Europe in the field of environmental and energy technology. With around 2,000 exhibitors and more than 51,000 visitors from over 110 countries, the event offers a broad platform for professionals and companies active in water, waste, air, and energy solutions. The fair is an excellent opportunity to discover the latest technologies, innovations, and business opportunities.

International matchmaking at Pollutec

During Pollutec, several matchmaking activities take place, giving companies the opportunity to connect directly with international partners and clients. These matchmaking events are the ideal occasion to hold valuable 1-on-1 meetings in a short time, explore collaborations, and increase visibility.

GREEN DAYS – international matchmaking

An important part of the fair is the international matchmaking event GREEN DAYS, organized by members of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), of which Water Alliance is also a partner.
This matchmaking takes place from October 7 to 10, 2025, and offers the possibility to have pre-scheduled 1-on-1 meetings with potential international business partners.

International Trade Tours & Roundtable Sessions

In addition to Green Days, we are co-organizing – together with international partners including Zenith (Germany), Rising Sud, Aqua Valley, Adocc, CCI Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (France), FIT (Belgium), and the Brabant Development Agency (Netherlands) – four international trade tours and a series of roundtable sessions.

Dates: October 8 & 9, 2025

Matchmaking Tours

• Two guided tours per day: 11:00 AM & 2:30 PM
• Meet relevant exhibitors and potential partners directly on the exhibition floor.
• Participation is free of charge, but spots are limited.

Roundtable Sessions

• Time slots: 10:00 AM & 2:00 PM
• Each session hosts 8–10 participants and offers space for in-depth discussion and collaboration.
• Topics include:
  • Improving water quality and tackling pollution
  • Accelerating climate adaptation with smart and nature-based solutions
  • Focus on water reuse, digitalization, and robust infrastructure
  • PFAS: challenges and opportunities

These sessions foster cross-border collaboration, innovative projects, and access to European funding opportunities.

The Dutch Pavilion at Pollutec

In addition to the matchmaking events, the NL Pavilion is the place to discover Dutch innovations in the fields of water, air, and green energy.
