European WaterCampus Business Challenge 2026

From March 23rd to 27th, 2026, the 14th edition of the WaterCampus Business Challenge (WCBC) will take place in Leeuwarden. This unique program offers startups, PhD researchers, and entrepreneurs from medium-sized companies the opportunity to turn their innovative ideas into successful businesses.

Selection criteria

Candidates are evaluated based on their innovation potential, sustainability, and market opportunities. Participants with the most promising ideas will be selected to join this exclusive challenge.

Practical information

Cost: €750 (excl. VAT and travel costs), including accommodation, meals, and training program. The remaining costs are sponsored by regional, national, and European governments and Wetsus.

Location: WaterCampus Leeuwarden, the European innovation hub for water technology.
