EU Techbridge – Energy & Water Opportunities in LA: Hyperion 2035 challenges

Join this webinar to understand from Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation the challenges concerning the Hyperion 2035 water reclamation plant, one of the largest wastewater plant collection and treatment systems in Los Angeles.

Are you an SME offering innovative solutions in the energy and water sectors? Are you interested in business opportunities with actors from the North American Market?

Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation (LASAN)

LA’s producer of recycled water. According to LA mayor’s Green New Deal, one of the challenges is to increase sustainable and environmental-friendly local water supplies. The goal is to transform Los Angeles Hyperion plant into a 100% water recycling reliable and sustainable water source by 2035.

LASAN is interested in solving some challenges:

  • Energy efficiency – how could Hyperion become more energy efficient and cut energy consumption in view of the increase of water to be treated?
  • Brine (reverse osmosis concentrate) – could it become a valuable resource?
  • Direct potable reuse of clean water – could your technology be relevant
