The Water Alliance End-User Platform is a community for organisations that are closely connected to the practical side of water technology. As a participant, you gain early insight into new technologies, direct contact with innovators, and the opportunity to influence how solutions develop.
Many new technologies arise from strong ideas, but they do not always align well with what the market actually needs. Within this community, we therefore bring technology developers and practitioners directly into contact with one another. In this way, participants gain visibility of new developments while also helping to ensure that innovations better match real market demands.
Who is the End-User Platform for?
The End-User Platform is intended for a wide range of organisations that deal with water flows and want to extract more value from them. Within the community, practical questions around water use, treatment and reuse are central. If water plays a role in your processes, there is a good chance the platform will be relevant to you. Participants exchange experiences, discuss real-world challenges and gain insight into new technologies and solutions that can help improve or better utilise water flows.
How does it work?
Many water technologies start with a good idea, but the connection with practical application is often missing.
Through the End-User Platform, we therefore connect technology developers with organisations that apply these technologies or work with them on behalf of their clients. Within the community, participants share their experiences and perspectives on new solutions.
This helps developers adjust technologies at an earlier stage. At the same time, participants gain early insight into innovations that may be relevant for their own work or their clients.
What do we ask of participants?
Participation in the community requires approximately 5 hours per year.
How this time is spent may vary. For example:
- participation in a webinar or online session
- providing feedback on a new technology
- a short interview or discussion about practical experiences
The activities may differ depending on the needs of the community at that time.
