During the fourth edition of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/europeanwatertechweek.eu\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/europeanwatertechweek.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">European Water Technology Week (EWTW)<\/a><\/strong>, entrepreneurs, scientists, policymakers, investors and water clusters will meet at <strong>WaterCampus Leeuwarden<\/strong> to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaborations and accelerate innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EWTW brings together <strong>research, technology and market implementation<\/strong> in one inspiring programme. Participants gain access to the latest insights, meet international experts and discover practical applications of water technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why attend?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">European Water Technology Week is the place to connect with the global water technology community. During the event you will have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>gain insights into the latest developments in water technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>meet international experts, companies and researchers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>explore new collaborations and business opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>showcase your organisation or innovation to an international audience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programme overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three-day programme combines <strong>plenary sessions, in-depth breakout sessions and business-oriented activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Monday 26 October &#8211; Leading innovation for a resilient water future<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The week starts with a plenary programme featuring international speakers and inspiring keynotes. During this day, the <strong>Marcel Mulder Award<\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wisaward.nl\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/wisaward.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WIS Award<\/a><\/strong> will be presented. Five promising innovators will pitch their solutions to an international audience of experts and decision-makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tuesday 27 October &#8211; Water technology leadership: from scientific insight to business impact<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This day focuses on knowledge and innovation, with <strong>20 sessions covering the latest developments in water technology<\/strong>. Science and business come together to translate insights into practical solutions. An optional tour will also be organised to experience water technology in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wednesday 28 October<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Leading the water tech industry: from vision to value<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final day begins with a plenary programme hosted by <strong><a type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/wateralliance.nl\/en\/groeiplan-watertechnologie\/\" id=\"https:\/\/wateralliance.nl\/en\/groeiplan-watertechnologie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UPPWATER<\/a><\/strong>. In the afternoon, keynote presentations and business-oriented breakout sessions will focus on topics such as European legislation and doing business in international markets. During the <a href=\"https:\/\/europeanwatertechweek.eu\/2026-3-8\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/europeanwatertechweek.eu\/2026-3-8\/\"><strong>Student Session<\/strong><\/a>, students can share their ambitions, showcase their skills, and discover internships, projects, and career paths that align with their goals<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exhibition &amp; networking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>exhibition floor<\/strong> is the beating heart of the European Water Technology Week. Here, technology providers, start-ups, scale-ups, research institutes and investors meet to present innovations and explore new partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the event there are several opportunities to connect, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>networking drinks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>matchmaking sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>informal meet-ups<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>demonstrations and showcases on the exhibition floor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>exhibition floor is now open for participants<\/strong>.
