A patent has been granted for this technology, published as WO2025\/127926.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The solution brings together three areas of expertise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FerSol\u00ae, the green oxidant developed by Ferr-Tech<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced separation technology from Servis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A smart, modular design for scalable deployment by STI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The societal relevance is clear. The global PFAS problem is growing rapidly, and regulations are becoming more stringent. With this patent, we take a step toward a solution that &#8211; if proven effective at scale &#8211; could be of real value to companies and public authorities working on clean water and a healthy environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are currently building a large-scale pilot module to test the technology in practice. We\u2019re ready for validation and upscaling in collaboration with an industrial partner, and open to further cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe patent marks an important step in our mission to tackle water scarcity through sustainable innovation,\u201d says Richard Bruins, CEO of Ferr-Tech. \u201cThe potential is significant, but first comes the next phase: scaling&nbsp;the technology&nbsp;and validating&nbsp;the founded&nbsp;laboratorium&nbsp;results. technology.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMaking PFAS removal possible requires technical precision and the right combination of expertise. That\u2019s exactly what we\u2019ve brought together in this partnership,\u201d says Henk Smal, General Manager at Servis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThanks to the modular design, we can move quickly from pilot to international upscaling.
