Between the 9th and 12th of March, a Turkish delegation representing the dairy industry will be visiting the Netherlands.
This visit is part of the “Water Sustainability of the Turkish Dairy Sector: Efficiency, Risks and Vulnerabilities” project financed by the EU under the Negotiation Framework and “Civil Society Dialogue”.
On the 11th of March, the Water Footprint Network will organize a workshop to exchange knowledge on the project topic and to showcase Dutch practices and innovative approaches to water sustainability in the dairy sector. The workshop will take place at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency/RVO, in The Hague. The workshop will start at 09:00am with an introduction of the project by representatives of the Water Footprint Network and of the Turkish delegation and will offer the floor to local experts from both the water and dairy sectors. The event will close off with a networking lunch between 12.00 and 13.00. We would like to invite representatives from both the dairy and water sectors in the Netherlands to come meet the Turkish delegates, share knowledge and present their innovative approaches towards increasing the water efficiency and resiliency of the dairy industry. The delegation aims to meet with dairy producers, regulators, knowledge institutes and government bodies who work on the cross-over between water and dairy.
