Last June 15th at the Aquatech Shanghai, Marco Pieterse of BlueLeg Monitor signed a dealership agreement with Fame Instruments in China. As part of the agreement parties organized a joint participation to the Aquatech exhibition in Shanghai, the largest specialized water exhibition in China. The collaboration is part of the strategy to boost the business in BlueLeg’s field monitors. Both hand held and fixed position monitors are used to analyse surface water quality on the spot by picking up the light reflection of a water body. Parameters that can be measured are chlorophyll-a, phycocyanin (a proxy for cyanobacteria), transparency and suspended solids.

This collaboration will pave the way

BlueLeg’s business developer Marco Pieterse reports: “This collaboration will pave the way for introducing our technology into the Chinese market. Fame is in an excellent position by its network and staff to capitalize on the increasing awareness in China of surface water quality water and the need for continuous monitoring. With our products Fame can offer its clients the flexibility to monitor several critical parameters on the spot, quick and accurate, and provide real time information.”
